Pragmatic and Efficient, Enterprising and Discipline
On 12th Jan2021, a professional offshore wind farm support vessel (ASA111) started to bebuilt in AFAI for CSSC HZ Wind Power. The Director of Board of Chongqing HZWind Power – Ms. Wang Lan started the cutting machine and the GM of CSSCYuanzhou – Mr. Han Bing witnessed the ceremony. This boat, with the hull No.ASA111, is the 111th vessel built by AFAI and it’s the first vesselbuilt for CSSC Group. Congratulations for the starting of the construction in thisnew year.
ASA111 is the first 30mclass professional offshore wind farm support vessel in China, with LOA 30.05m,beam 9.9m, molded depth 3.2m, draft 1.7m, design speed 25 knots and a capacityfor 6 crew and 12 passengers. It will be designed and built to ensure safety,rapidity under bad sea state and economic efficiency under daily operation. Theboat is planned to be delivered and put into operation by the end of 2021. Thisis the 6th wind farm support vessel built by AFAI, after deliveringits 1st service boat to Europe in 2019. AFAI’s rich experience inbuilding wind farm support vessels and outstanding performance of the boats arehighly appreciated by the domestic and abroad owners.
In recent years, AFAI hasimplemented the concept of new development philosophy, adhering to the strategyof “high quality development” and the corporate vision of “To be aninternationally known and domestically leading supplier for high performancealuminum vessels”. When facing the trend of pursuing safety, efficiency, energy-savingand environmental protection, AFAI has made active efforts to reduce the weightof tourist boats, public service boats and workboats, etc., hence the boost of thecustomers’ development with higher quality, more efficiency, more fairness,more stability and safer. The start of this project will further establish theleading position of AFAI in the domestic market of wind farm support vessels andlead its upgrading trend.
