      On 4th August 2015, China Shipping chairman Xu Lirong and CSIC general manager Sun Bo accompanied by respective group members have inspected at AFAI.

     The two group leaders have inspected the aluminum high-speed vessel construction sites and the Technology Center in AFAI, and focused on understanding the design and construction process for the Brazil US2000 project. They have also boarded the high-speed 400 passenger ship. They highly appraised the aluminum construction process and quality in AFAI.

      In the work conference, AFAI general manager Sun Dongsheng has reported AFAI’s basic development situations, the market status of aluminum vessels, the competitions from the same industries, and AFAI’s opportunities, challenges and coping strategies.

     Chairman Xu and CSIC General Manager Sun have fully affirmed the successful cooperation between the two central enterprises in AFAI after the work report. They both have made the important instructions: AFAI should further implement the speech spirit “Quality is the Golden Card” by Premier Li Keqiang while boarding and inspecting the “Sugar Loaf Mountain” vessel during his visit to Brazil on May of this year, and also should positively participate the international challenges with the high quality and high performance products, to achieve the going-out strategy and contribute to the Chinese manufacturing industries entering the world market; AFAI should continue to do well in “Small Factory Dealing With Big Things” even without high level facility configuration but with high product positioning, and should become the model in the same industries through the fine management, high quality and efficient production, strict production cost control and the continuous increasing each square meter land value; AFAI should emphasize the brand effect and marketing sense, and further exploit the market, esp. the international market, to continuously seize the commanding height in the world aluminum vessel market with the achieved world class brand; AFAI should plan a specific implementation scheme for long-term development, esp. the production scale and the training for young technical management personnel, and the managing team also should carefully study the strategies and also positively cope with to improve the competitiveness; AFAI should maintain the traditional advantages over the production of the aluminum high-speed passenger vessel to develop well the civil military integration products and optimize the industrial structure towards the industrialization development to become much greater and much stronger. Furthermore, the two group leaders have expressed that they will positively support the innovation and development in AFAI, and will help accelerate the development of AFAI’s scale and industrialization.
